Dave Hoover explores the psychology of software development

A friend of a friend of my father-in-law has asked me to put together a proposal for a B2B ecommerce site for his fledgling food distribution business. I have spoken with fellow Agilist Roman Zabicki about working with me on the project. We're both very excited about it. I need to settle down and focus on putting together a good proposal.
The Scent of a Scrum MasterI started reading the Scrum book this week. Like my interest in the XP Coach, the Scrum Master is also a position that I want to learn more about. From page 32:
"A Scrum Master has certain personality traits. He or she is usually focused and determined to do whatever is necessary for their Scrum teams. Some people aren't appropriate as Scrum Masters. They aren't comfortable being that visible and taking that much initiative. Removing impediments requires determination and stubbornness."
This description encourages me. I feel like I have a good personality fit for this role, though, not surprisingly, I feel I need to gain experience and confidence in order to be effective.
